Our company is conveniently situated on the former island Urk for the supply of fresh fish. The largest and most modern fleet of vessels in Europe enables the Urk fishermen to a constant supply of large quantities high quality fresh fish. The fish auction in Urk is one of the most important in Europe.

Urk Export not only purchases the fish in the local Urk auction but also in other auctions elsewhere in the Netherlands. Besides, more than half of the fish we need for processing is imported from other European countries. Afterwards the processed fish is sold all over Europe. For example at Boulogne-sur-Mer in France, the most important distribution-centre in Europe. Here you can see the Urk-Export trucks coming and going all the time. Our professional skilled drivers are delivering their big quantities of both fresh and frozen fish here every day. On their way home they bring the fish they just bought; and so it goes on throughout the year.
